Introduction
Rocketlane's integration with Zoom streamlines your project documentation by automatically capturing and summarising meeting insights directly from Zoom recordings. With Meetings AI, post-sales teams can generate emails, internal updates, and documents instantly, reducing manual work and ensuring consistent, timely follow-ups.
With the Zoom app, we will pick the cloud recordings from Zoom and use that to process meetings insights and summaries.
Pre-requisites for adding the Zoom app:
Pro, Business, Education or Enterprise account with Zoom
Account owner or admin privileges to modify account and group-level settings. Ensure cloud recording and audio transcript is enabled.
How to enable cloud recordings in Zoom:
Log in as the administrator into your company’s Zoom account
Under Admin, click Account Management, and then click Account Settings.
Click the Recording tab and confirm or ensure these settings are as below:
Cloud recording: Enabled
Audio transcripts: Enabled

How to add the zoom app:
You need to be logged into your Rocketlane account to add the Zoom app. While the marketplace will show the zoom app “AI fills by Rocketlane” - To add the app, you need to be an admin in Rocketlane, have AI fills enabled and have bots join your team’s meetings.
Once the above prerequisites are in place, log into your Rocketlane account to complete adding the app:
Navigate to Settings -> AI Capabilities -> AI fills -> Connect your video conference tools
Click on Zoom and then click on “Connect”
If you are not already signed in to Zoom, you will be prompted to sign in.
Click Authorise to connect Rocketlane to Zoom
This will automatically add the app to your Zoom account.
How to use Zoom & AI Fills :
Once you’ve integrated the Zoom app with Rocketlane, the platform can access all new meeting recordings stored in the Zoom Cloud. This easy access allows Rocketlane to utilize the AI Fills feature to generate meaningful content, such as meeting summaries, bullet points, action items, and more, directly from the recordings.

How to disconnect the zoom app:
To remove the app, simply disconnect from Settings -> AI Capabilities -> AI fills -> Connect your video conference tools -> Zoom. Once the app is removed, we will no longer be able to fetch the meeting recordings from Zoom. Cloud recordings fetched earlier will continue to remain in Rocketlane and your team can use them for composing emails, project documents or draft internal notes.
Once you disconnect zoom from Rocketlane, here are the steps to deauthorize the "AI Fills by Rocketlane" app from your Zoom Account.
- 1. Login to your Zoom Account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.
- 2. Click Manage >> Added Apps or search for the "AI Fills by Rocketlane" app.
- 3. Click the "I Fills by Rocketlane" app.
- 4. Click Remove.
