Why are unexpected dates showing up as PTO or unavailable on my timesheet?
If you see unexpected days off or generic PTO marked on your timesheet, these are often company holidays added to your account’s Holiday Calendar by your Project Manager or Account Admin.
- How to check: Hover over the highlighted date in your timesheet to view the specific holiday name.
- Next steps: If you believe a holiday is listed in error, reach out to your internal Rocketlane Account Administrator or Manager to update your assigned Holiday Calendar.
How do I apply for time off directly in Rocketlane?
If you need to request or log time off manually in Rocketlane, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > Profile.
- Locate the Time off & Holidays section.
- Click Apply time off and select your dates.
- To check the status of your past requests, click View time off history under the same section.
What should I do if PTO submitted in my HR system is not showing in Rocketlane?
If PTO submitted in your HR system, such as Workday, is not showing in Rocketlane, try the following checks:
- Check sync frequency: Depending on your organization’s settings, the integration between your HR portal and Rocketlane may sync on a scheduled delay.
- Verify time off history: Go to Settings > Profile > Time off & Holidays > View time off history to check if the entries were processed successfully.
- Contact your admin: If the entries are still missing after the standard processing time, contact your internal system administrator to verify that your HRIS user profile is correctly mapped to Rocketlane.
