This can be done by setting conditions such as, if the ARR exceeds $10000, then introduce the kick-off phase. Here, only if a project meets this condition will the kick-off phase be included. These conditions can be set at the task level, phase level, and subtask level.

You can leverage project fields as conditions in dynamic templates, including custom project fields imported from the Salesforce integration. It is crucial to fill these project fields during project creation for Rocketlane to smartly tailor the ideal project template and use it to create a project.

How to set dynamic conditions for project templates

1. Go to Templates and select the Dynamic view from the other available views at the top.
   
2. Here, you can set dynamic conditions for phases, tasks, and subtasks as per your requirement.
   
   For example, let's say you want to do GDPR compliance for Europe-based customers. You can add a condition saying if the region is Europe, then add this particular task.
   
3. To establish a condition at any project stage, click Add Condition corresponding to that stage.
   
4. Click Add conditions to specify conditions for the phase, task, or subtask creation to happen. This opens a pane for you to filter and set the conditions.
   
5. The dropdown list consists of various project fields from which you can select the relevant field and alter the values accordingly.
   
6. You can set conditions on multiple project fields by using the Add Filter option.
   
7. Once all conditions for task creation are set, click Done to save them.
   
8. The set conditions will be reflected alongside the task on the Dynamic Templates page.
   
9. Lastly, click Save at the top right corner of the page to preserve all changes made to your project template.
   

How to create a new project using dynamic project templates

1. For instance, let us use a template with dynamic conditions for a task called GDPR compliance, where the condition is Region is exactly Europe.
   
2. During the new project creation process, the additional information section allows you to assign values to the project fields, which in this case is Region.
   

Now, when a project is created using the template with the dynamic condition, the GDPR compliance task will be created if the region is assigned as Europe and skipped if it is anything else.
