A: Upon ending your services with Rocketlane, here's what you need to know regarding email cessation and data handling:

  • Stopping Emails Immediately: If your customers are still receiving emails, it's likely due to your Rocketlane instance remaining active. To halt all outgoing communications immediately, please contact Rocketlane support to have your instance manually disabled.
  • Data Retention Policy: As per Rocketlane's terms, your customer data is preserved for a duration of 6 months following the suspension or non-renewal of services. Rocketlane retains the right to delete this data after this 6-month period.
  • Proactive Data Deletion: While data is typically retained for 6 months, you can request a proactive deletion of your account and associated data. However, be aware that Rocketlane processes these deletion requests in batches twice a year, which generally results in a turnaround time of approximately 6 months from the request date. If this timeframe aligns with the standard 6-month retention, you may choose to let the natural data deletion process occur.
